Walt Disney Co. reportedly plans to slash thousands of jobs next week.  Bloomberg, citing people familiar with the plans said the company would cut about 15% of the staff in its entertainment division. The cuts will include those in TV, film, theme parks and on corporate teams, in every region where Disney operates.  Disney Entertainment, a unit created in a restructuring this year, would also be impacted, the report said. Tim Walz is expected to sign a series of bills that would further enshrine the right to abortion and gender-affirming care into state law while banning so-called conversion therapy. Three years to the day, U.S. benchmark West Texas Intermediate crude futures settled at a negative price for the first time on record. The oil market is again struggling with signs of a slowdown in the global economy that could lead to a drop in energy demand.
