WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Internal Revenue Service Commissioner Danny Werfel urged Congress on Wednesday to approve a $1.8 billion annual budget increase as Republicans criticized the agency’s spending plans for $80 billion in new long-term funding as too heavy on enforcement. Bitcoin prices dropped today, flirting with the $28,000 price level after building upon their recent losses. The world’s most valuable digital currency by market capitalization declined to $28,010 this afternoon, according to CoinDesk data.
