Airbus said that it has signed capability-enhancement and in-service support contracts for the French A330 Multi Role Tanker Transport fleet worth 1.2 billion euros ($1.27 billion).
The first contract provides for capability extensions of the multi-role tanker transport fleet.
The second is for 10 years of in-service support for the so-called “Phenix” fleet with an option to extend by an additional two years.
The two contracts were signed with France’s defense procurement and technology agency and its aeronautical maintenance directorate.
