Bezant Resources shares rose after the group announced an increase of copper estimate at the Hope and Gorob Copper project in Namibia.
Shares at 0738 GMT were up 0.01 pence, or 17%, at 0.04 pence.
The copper-gold exploration and development company on Friday said that the mineral resource estimate has identified significant potential for an open pit extraction of copper, which could increase the resource by a further 700,000 to 1 million tons.
The open pit could support five years of mine life at an annual rate of 500,000 tons a year, it added.
Bezant holds a 70% interest in the project.
